Job description
The Store Manager will plan, organize, coordinate and monitor all aspects of store operations to ensure continued growth and profitability. Will implement the basic guidelines of customer satisfaction, marketing, and profitability; meet or exceed budget expectations; and provide customers with a friendly neighborhood store that saves them time and money. Specific responsibilities include:
Maintaining the 5 Basics of store operations (Quality Control, Housekeeping, Stock Levels & Product Mix, Clear Correct Pricing, and Customer Service)
Practicing the 3 Basics of Maximizing Profits (Merchandising, Cost Control, Shrink Control)
Proper Human Resource practices
Following all Tops policies & procedures
Qualifications:
College degree preferred but not required
3 – 5 years experience in the supermarket industry, with progressively more management experience
Successful demonstration of the 8 management competencies (Business Insight/Problem Solving, Communication Skills, Delegation, Flexibility, Human Relation Skills, Leadership, Management Control, Planning & Organization)
Working knowledge of all store systems (POS, Receiving, LMS, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
