What will the Stocker do?

The Stocker works under the direction of the Project Manager and is responsible for preparing the store for the next day. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to the military base. The Commissary Stocker is responsible for stocking and ensuring that all delivery items make it of the pallet and into their designated spots.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and organize pallets from the delivery truck
  • Transport product from the warehouse to the sales floor
  • Drop/Stage product to its designated aisle and in its proper locations
  • Replenish shelves, end caps and displays with missing products
  • Rotate products on the shelves
  • Check for and remove expired merchandise from shelves
  • Place items on shelves
  • Unload products from the delivery trucks
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Observe company’s safety rules and guidelines
  • Know the department and its products

  • Ensure that applicable personal protective equipment is available, in proper operating condition, and used for each job performed
  • Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition and that all safe guards are in place
  • Immediately report accident, incidents/near misses to Project Manager
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
