Staffing Services Director Job at Innovative Staffing
Summary
The Staffing Director is responsible for overall operation of Innovative Staffing Solutions, including planning, organizing, developing, and directing the staffing operations. The Staffing Services Director will also work with the management company for Innovative Staffing Solutions on various operational matters.
Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers to understand their staffing needs
- Maintain workforce plan based on customer needs
- Recruit, interview and hire staff based on workforce requirements
- Conduct necessary pre-employment verifications in accordance to federal, state and local law
- Onboard new team members
- Provide direction and supervision to all staff and support them as needed
- Review and manage time cards
- Ensure necessary training is completed
- Manage the monthly billing
- Responsible for collection of all A/R and adherence to company collection policies and procedures.
- Work with the management company to complete bookkeeping, budgeting, and other matters as needed
Qualifications
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism. Must be able to deal tactfully with all levels of personnel. Must be able to speak, write and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, employees, residents, and families.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years experience staffing for a healthcare organization or temporary labor industry, or equivalent
- Computer proficiency
- Experience with financial documents and reports
Additional Information
All employees are expected to follow all policies and procedures. These policies and procedures can be found in the employee handbook, department policies (if applicable, and procedure manuals and with your supervisor.
This position may be required to work beyond normal work hours, additional shifts, weekends and holidays when necessary. This position is subject to call-back during emergency conditions (e.g. severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.).
