Pharmacist Job Posting

The Pharmacist is responsible for adherence of day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and provides direction to the pharmacy staff. The Pharmacist completes proper filling of prescriptions, adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures, and completes all clinical and compliance related tasks effectively and accurately. The Pharmacist reports to Pharmacy Manager and will report and oversee activities including, but not limited to, updates of daily activities and discussion of personnel actions.

This position provides patient care, accurate dispensing of prescriptions, administration of testing and/or immunizations when applicable, patient counseling, and proper recordkeeping and documentation. This position is also responsible for interaction with other healthcare professionals, excellent delivery and oversight of customer service, and handling tasks such as revenue growth, inventory tracking, and employee staffing.

The Pharmacist maintains all proper confidentiality of information, HIPAA standards, and monitoring of all loss prevention and safety.

Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing, and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews, developing and implementing action plans, and providing direction and guidance on executing Company programs and strategic initiatives.

Hours vary dependent on pharmacy needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD,

· Pharmacy license in applicable state.

· Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

· Strong customer service skills REQUIRED.

· Ability to adapt to changing workflow.

Preferred Qualifications:

· 1-2 years of retail pharmacist experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour
