This position performs specialized duties in support of the college’s financial aid processes. Individual is charged with the implementation and maintenance of a FAFSA Hotline to serve students, parents and the community in completing the annual FAFSA applications.

• Assist students & parents in completing the FAFSA application.
• Assist with FAFSA completion activities; live and online.
• Develop outreach campaigns to assure timely completion of FAFSA applications.
• Follow up FAFSA completion in FAA Access & Banner to ensure timely processing.
• Counsel students and parents about financial aid.
• Responds to emails and voicemails.
• Ability to work a flex-time schedule to accommodate the public’s needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of an associate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.
• Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the work of subordinate positions to be able to answer questions and resolve problems, usually associated with 1 year of experience or service.
