Job Description:

Good Guy Builders (GGB) is a General Contractor offering professional residential remodeling in the North Bay and San Francisco area. We have a highly skilled team that offers a full range of quality services in renovations, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, custom cabinetry, tiling, and much more! GGB is a family owned and operated business "where families come first." We are currently seeking to hire a motivated, experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis.

Seeking experienced, accounting professional for established private residential remodeling company.

Candidates should have a strong finance/accounting knowledge with experience in developing and maintaining repeatable reporting and analysis processes. Would work with the President and CEO to implement and maintain improved monthly close, budget/forecast, and reporting processes.

Outline of position requirements

· Knowledgeable on the process to close books at the end of month and produce clean monthly financial statements
· Assess and apply existing accounting methodologies to ensure GAAP is correctly applied and remediate where necessary
· Own daily accounting tasks including AR/AP and Payroll
· Maintain and augment budgeting/financial planning process
· Extract information from other systems to provide management and ownership with timely, meaningful reporting.

Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in finance/accounting roles
Demonstrated ability to analyze and maintain processes, procedures, and controls
Ability to develop reporting and analysis
Technologically forward-thinking
Experience building robust budgets/forecasts

Preferences
CPA certification
Experience with Quickbooks
Experience with accounting for software companies
Experience with private company
Experience within an entrepreneurial environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
