Stadium Facilities Coordinator Job at El Paso Chihuahuas
Position Overview:
The Coordinator plays a key role in the daily maintenance and management of the stadium on game days and other shifts as assigned.
Essential Job Functions:
- Handle all assigned game day operational priorities for the stadium.
- Assist with all aspects of facility operations for all baseball/soccer and events.
- Handles any and all pre-game and post-game planning and responsibility to having stadium operate at a satisfactory level for games.
- Assist with all facility needs such as repairs, painting and moving items.
- Ensure compliance of safety standards in relation to custodial work.
- Work with custodial management to ensure that impeccable standards of professionalism and cleanliness are being presented in the stadium.
- Assist with general maintenance of the stadium and surrounding areas.
- Aid with various stadium operations (tarp duty, event setup/teardown, etc.) and other tasks as assigned by the team
Physical Demands & Working Environment:
- Required to work game schedule, standing and walking around during season and events.
- Sitting, standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, or crouching are all part of this position.
- Must be able to handle weather related elements such as rain and heat.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a maintenance position preferred, ideally in a sports related facility.
- Experience working in facilities, and high traffic facilities preferred.
