Position Summary:
Assists in the management of the Quality function for the Controls Technology Division. Responsible for customer satisfaction including ongoing customer communications including timely responses and follow-up to customer concerns, internal defects, scrap performance, and financial performance. Administers all Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems requirements which fall under the Quality function.

Position Requirements:
1. Coordinate activities relative to customer complaints, including customer interface, customer portals and scorecards, immediate response actions, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions and follow-up.
2. Tracks internal and external defects and reports this information for the purpose of problem solving analysis, error proofing and continuous improvement.
3. Assist production with PPAP builds to ensure all customer requirements are met.
4. Support APQP activities for new product launches and product/process changes, including the proper implementation of customer specific requirements.
5. Conduct internal Quality Audits and external Supplier Audits, reporting findings and following up/assisting on corrective actions.
6. Key team member in the development and maintenance of Control Plan, PFLOW and PFMEA.
7. Accountable for gage capability, calibration, and statistical methods.
8. Involved in continuous improvement initiatives including scrap and labor reductions and elimination of redundant inspections, including customer follow-up where necessary.
9. Lead communication and resolution of vendor related issues, including issue communication and follow-up on vendor corrective actions.
10. Train/educate the workforce on Quality principles through various methods.
11. Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle for work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety Program.
12. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
13. Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistent with continuous improvement goals and the values of SSI Technologies, Inc. which includes following the policies, procedures, and requirements of our Quality Management and IS0 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
14. All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Professional/Technical Experience, Skills and Education:
1. An Associate's degree with related experience; 5 years of experience within a production environment, required.
2. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering preferred).
3. Proven track record of accomplishments in the areas of Continuous Improvement, Corrective Action, successful PPAP submissions and product launches. Required.
4. Proven success as a facilitator in working with teams on root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. Required
