Hourly Pay Rate: $20.80 - $26.00/hr.

Department: Depot QA & Tech Support

Shift: 1st

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Some overtime may be required to fullfil job duties.

Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to

  • Conducts physical and visual inspections independently based on the requirements of each productions area
  • Develops quality standards within the parameters set by Epson
  • Compiles and inputs data into corresponding spreadsheets and/or matrices for the generation of required reports
  • Ensures that any errors are expediently corrected
  • Ensures that all documentation is validated prior to submission
  • Assists in providing training to quality inspectors in proper documentation of defects
  • Submits all documentation in a timely manner
  • Helps identify and defines problems, as well as assist in solutions
  • Reviews processes to drive continual improvement and report findings
  • Updates and revises work instructions as processes are changed and/or implemented
  • Supports Specialist and Supervisor with special inspections and/or investigations
  • Works closely with Returns and Returns Receiving personnel in performing returned units or parts analysis/investigation

Qualifications

  • Previous experience using gauges to perform quality inspection.
  • Knowledge of Quality Standards/SOPs
  • Knowledge of computers programs (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.)
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
