About the Role:
CrowdStrike is seeking an experienced, highly motivated International Tax Sr. Manager. The International Tax Sr. Manager will be responsible for executing various tasks in the international tax area. The International Tax Sr. Manager will be involved in tax analyses and implementation of tax strategies and computations based on evolving U.S. and international tax laws and corresponding internal structure changes. This position will be based in Sunnyvale, California and report to Director, International Tax.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist in building OECD Pillar Two tax models and other tax analytical worksheets based on U.S. and global tax law developments and be responsible for updating and maintaining such models and worksheets
  • Responsible for leading the engagement process for the international tax portion of U.S. tax returns and disclosures, including reviewing U.S. international tax calculations such as foreign tax credit, FDII, DCL, GILTI, subpart F, BEAT, Section 987 etc.
  • Assist in managing the company’s non-U.S. global tax reporting & compliance
  • Assist in managing the company’s transfer pricing policy, intercompany arrangements and computation of intercompany charges
  • Partner with other internal functions to advise on tax aspects of the company’s day-to-day operations, as well as specific transactions
  • Keep current on developments in global taxation that may affect our business, assisting in monitoring, researching, and analyzing the effects of US and international tax legislation
  • Assist in providing strategic support on tax examinations and inquiries by the IRS and foreign tax authorities
What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelors degree and JD, LLM or MST
  • Minimum 8 years of public accounting and corporate tax department experience with a global company
  • Ability to update, upgrade, and maintain complex tax models based on rapidly evolving global tax laws and regulations
  • Growth mindset and willingness to embrace and adapt to changes in a constantly evolving global tax environment
  • Experience with U.S. international tax compliance (Forms 5471, 8858, 8991, 8992, 926, etc.) and non-U.S. tax reporting & compliance
  • Experience with U.S. international tax issues, such as foreign tax credit, FDII, BEAT, GILTI, etc.
  • Experience with transfer pricing related matters, such as Master file report, local TP reports, transfer pricing calculations, intercompany agreements, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with all levels of management and cross functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete projects within the required time frame
  • Willing and able to work with other members using a supportive and collaborative approach
  • Willing and able to perform tasks at multiple levels, from detailed preparation to high level review
  • Independent and self-driven with the ability to find solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
