Work with Maintenance Engineers to sustain and improve new and current Lab equipment.
Maintain hand tools and spare part BOMs and ensure proper part availability. Perform preventive maintenance and repair on all Lab equipment.
Support Lab Operations by ensuring equipment is operating at target levels.
Ensure that equipment problems are attended to promptly, and that the equipment will be repaired in the safest but shortest possible time.
Prepare shift reports related to their area of responsibility. Support the installation, modification, and upgrade of Lab equipment. Provide onsite technical support to Lab Operations during equipment downtime situations including during extended hours (overtime) and weekends in time critical situations. Assist other projects as needed by engineering, management or as business needs change. Always comply with Environment, Health, Safety and Quality standards, rules and regulations Performs other duties as may be assigned by their superior. Complies at all times to the Environment, Health, Safety and Quality standards, rules and regulations.
