In this position you will need to complete various routine cleaning tasks in offices, laboratories, patient care areas, lobbies, public areas, hotel rooms.

You may also serve as the breakfast attendant as scheduled. These duties include setting up and breaking down each morning's breakfast buffet, ensuring buffet items remain well-stocked, maintaining the buffet area’s safety and appearance, and cleaning the area in preparation for the next day. This may include replenishing silverware, food, and condiments, refilling beverage containers, wiping, sweeping, and clearing dirty plates from tables, washing and cleaning all the dishes and serving tools in a washing machine, relaying guests’ needs to the manager, and providing or refilling drinks.

Routine Cleaning:

Dust various surfaces such as desks, bookcases, and window ledges.
Vacuum hotel room, lobby, offices, etc.
Sweep and mop floors.
Empty, wipe, and reline trash receptacles.
Remove and dispose of trash.
Wipe and/or wash walls.
Clean toilets and sinks.
Wipe mirrors, dispensers, and shelves.
Replenish various dispensers with paper supplies and soap.
Polish tables and other surfaces as needed.
Pick-up and transport soiled linen to the designated area.

Patient Care Area Duties:

Clean and disinfect IV poles.
Clean and disinfect examination tables.
Strip, disinfect, and remake beds and cribs.
Defrost and wipe out refrigerators.
Clean and disinfect floors and miscellaneous surfaces.
Refill paper and soap dispensers.
Wash sinks and toilets using appropriate cleansers.
Wipe mirrors, shelves, and dispensers.
Clean medical equipment.
Removal of medical waste from patient room
Clean/exchange sharp containers.

Salary range: $18.90-$24.43 Hourly

Required:

• English skills sufficient to read work instructions and labels, complete forms and impart information in writing and converse in English to speak with guests, co-workers, and supervisor.
• Physical ability to stand continuously for up to 8 hours and ability to work at a pace which conforms to minimum performance guidelines.
• Physical ability to move, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to use specialized housekeeping and communication equipment/products.
• Ability to cheerfully assist customers.
• Must be able to work variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.
