Aegis Home Health is currently seeking a compassionate Speech Therapist (ST) that has a passion for providing outstanding services to the elderly in Senior Living Communities and in-home health settings. This is a PRN position serving patients in Cache and Box Elder counties. The main office is located in Logan, Utah.

Each Speech Therapist (ST) is an important part of the Aegis Health Care team. Aegis specializes in providing care for home health and hospice patients in home settings and in senior living communities. Our patients have many different needs, and we can help them all. Our Speech Therapist is responsible for screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide quality patient care including screening and evaluation of patients, and development of initial and ongoing treatment plans of care
• Maintain professional conduct that represents Aegis' commitment to quality service in all interactions with patients, family members, and facilities
• Optimize communication, cognitive-linguistic abilities, and swallowing skills of patients by providing, and directing speech therapy
• Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short-term treatment goals
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology; Certification/Licensure in the state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as an ST
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with different types of personalities
• Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgement
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable automobile
• Proof of current automobile insurance
• Criminal background check clearance/fingerprint clearance
• Negative TB test
