Compliance Specialist would be responsible for assisting with the day to day management of all safety programs. Work with the Safety Supervisor and Area Managers to ensure compliance with all programs, policies, and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures Company safety policies and practices are followed.
• Conduct jobsite safety inspections.
• Assist in reviewing jobsite safety observations and jobsite hazard analysis.
• Assist with accident investigations.
• Assist with damage claims.
• inspect tools and equipment, red tag items as necessary.
• Perform gate checks on vehicles, review DVIR's
• Operates vehicle following all safety and traffic regulations.
• Assist with Subcontractor I-9 badge compliance.
• QC Construction/Drop Bury jobs.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
• Attend peoridoc safety meetings with the safety manager.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record.
• 1-3 years of related experience preferably in the construction safety field.
• Must have working knowledge of USDOT and OSHA regulations.
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communications skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Risk Management or other related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs as needed with our without assistance.

Safety Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the Company Safety and Loss Control Program is followed ion the jobsites.
• Assist field employees to ensure that the necessary safety equipment is available and is in proper working order at each jobsite.
• Ensure all employees under their direction are trained in safe procedures relating to their job.
• Conduct periodic safety checks at the jobsite under their direction.
• Assist in the investigating of all accidents.

Applicants are required to pass all company drug testing, submit to a background check and adhere to all OSHA, state, city/municipality safety requirements and training provided by the company as required.
