Capital District Beginnings is an educational agency providing services for pre-school children with special needs in the Capital District. Beginnings is currently seeking Teacher Aides to join our Classroom Team in Rensselaer, NY.
As a Beginnings Teacher Aide (TA) you will work closely with the Special Education Teacher, therapists and other aides in our preschool program. TA's are an integral part of our classroom team. In this position you will work directly with 2-5 year-old children during our five-hour program day and then participate in classroom meetings, professional development, preparation, cleaning and planning with the classroom team.
This position is Monday-Friday, 6 hours per day and follows a school calendar including a six-week summer program.
Our pay range is based on education and experience. We offer a strong benefits package in addition to sick/personal time, holidays and snow days. Paid vacation time after one year of service.
