Position Summary:
The SSC Bank Account Specialist processes the bank reconciliation functions within the SSC.
The SSC Bank Account Specialist processes the bank reconciliation functions within the SSC.
Who would I interact with?
SOX Banking team members, SSC AP team, SSC ACH team and store personnel
What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
- Train new bank associate on the daily reconciliation process
- Train new bank associate on all CashPro functions
- Manage order process for store deposit slips
- Work with Sr. Lead to prepare any audit requests
- Reconcile daily all Depository and Disbursement accounts
- Work with SSC ACH team to ensure all sweeps are posted daily
- Interact with Stores/SSC on any bank reconciliation research items
- Complete Corporate ACH approval with BOA
- Assist with any BOA/Cashpro admin requests
- Support and cover for Sr. Lead when needed
- Monitor all Clutch tickets assigned to you
- Verify that PPAY files are being created and sent by the bot
- View and decision PPAY exceptions via Cash Pro in BOA
What are the requirements for this job?
- 3-5 years accounting experience
- Ability to train associate on Excel, CDK, and other software
- Leadership skills
- Team Player with superior service skills
- Able to meet sensitive deadlines
- Must be highly organized; have excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities
- Proficient with MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Analytical problem solver
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to learn new software quickly
- Experience doing heavy reconciliation work
