Atlas Copco Comptec LLC, located in Voorheesville, NY, is seeking a Sourcing Co-op . The primary objectives of this position include:

Assist the Sourcing group with projects as assigned; to develop, implement, & maintain various reports through Power BI & Microsoft excel.

• Leverage visualization tools and frameworks including Power BI to perform interactive data exploration that help businesses & senior leaders understand impact of identified opportunities.
• Identify and present predictive drivers/leading indicators, trends, outliers, and patterns that uncover new insights to help new framework utilizing Power BI
• To comply with Safety Rules, Regulations and OSHA Requirements

Atlas Copco is an international leader in the design and production of turbomachinery equipment. We participate in a variety of markets which include industrial gases, marine, LNG transport, midstream, renewables & energy recovery, and power generation.

Our Voorheesville, NY facility is specializing in the production of integrally geared compressors and companders, custom engineered to serve our customers. Engineering, Manufacturing and Test operations are present on site.

What we expect of you?

• 
  College student majoring in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data analytics, Data Science or a related degree
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI
• Have good knowledge of data visualization, graphs and charts
• Knowledge of data modeling and ability to extract data from the web and other sources
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to build a dashboard
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
