We are seeking licensed electricians in the state of Maine. Ideally, someone who is between Oxford, Lewiston and Brunswick would limit travel time.

This role requires regular project oversite, maintenance, repair, and operations of large scale/C&I PV systems as well as logging and generating reports. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Required:

• ME Electrician License
• Familiarity troubleshooting complex electrical systems and components
• Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing solar DAS devices, networks, and monitoring components
• Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical diagrams, project design +drawings and other architectural plans/construction documents
• Proficient with technology and computing via a variety of cloud-based programs and data processing/technical/management software programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Strong customer service, professionalism, and good interpersonal skills is a must
• Comfortable working as a team player or independently if necessary
• 70% Field/Travel - subject to change depending on project/customer
• Must have clean background, driver’s license, and professional demeanor
• Ability to lift 75lbs, work in hot and cold environments, climb ladders and stand/walk for long periods of time

Desired:

• Experience in the solar industry
• Experience installing, operating and/or maintaining commercial/large scale PV systems, inverters, and data acquisition systems (DAS)
• Experience working with 600v-1500v systems and medium-voltage devices
• OSHA certification
• Strong knowledge of the NEC, IEEE, and current NFPA-70e requirements
• Ability to document services performed and generate professional reports
• Openness to working a shifted schedule (Sat-Wed / Sun-Thurs)
