Overview:
Seeking a Software Engineer 2. This position will be instrumemtal in the development of the new version of this mission critical application, which provides command and control of devices and assures site security. The new version will utilize java/javascript, and MERN stack. The developer will assist/mentor junior development team members as needed.
This is a hands-on coding/programmer position.

Security Clearance Requirements:
This position requires all candidates to be
U.S. Citizens and
possess and active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.
Qualifications:
Required Education & Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Fouteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. This to include experience with:
- Java, Javascript or NodeJS
- REST Application Program Interfaces
- Web development
- Database Management Systems (MySQL, Oracle, PostgresSQL, etc.)
- Linux Development and Administration
- Eclipse
Required Skills
- Java and javascript development in a Linux environment
- MySQL and/or MongoDB database experience
- MERN (MySQL, Express, React and Node)
- Jira and Confluence
Desired Skills
- Full Stack development in Java & Javascript environment
