Software Developer (Backend API) Job at Advanced Hires
Advanced Hires is partnering with an innovative, Global FinTech company and developer of cutting-edge trading applications to hire an experienced Backend API Software Developer based out of Great Neck, NY. This role will be onsite two days per week.
As a Backend API developer you will design, build, test and maintain new trading and pricing applications and enhance existing ones. You will be working across the full stack with performance and latency considerations. You are a generalist working on both frontend, backend and external APIs. You are enthusiastic about technology, quick learner, and a team player.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement high performance trading APIs
- Design, build and maintain data pipeline for trading analytics
- Implement automated tests and work with QA teams to create test plans
- Create design, test & deployment documents
- Collaborate with teams in various regions and stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science
- Experience in one or more general purpose programming languages: Java, C++, Go, & JavaScript.
- 3+ years of web development including WebSocket & REST.
- Familiarity with best practices for web development.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue - good to have skills).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
