Social Services Director Winsted Job at Monarch Healthcare Management
This is a full-time position shared between The Gardens at Winsted in Winsted and The Estates at Delano in Delano!
The Social Services Director interacts with the residents, families, visitors, other facility staff, and community agencies during the admission and discharge process the Director interacts with residents, families, visitors, other facility staff. The Social Service Director plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Social Services Department. This must be done in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies, and procedures, and as directed by the Administrator.
Qualifications:
Must have:
- A Minnesota license to practice social work is required.
- Must recognize and understand the psychosocial and emotional needs of residents.
- Must have requires strong skills in communication, organization, management, and leadership.
Preferred:
- Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community.
