• Designing social media strategies to achieve marketing targets using established metrics
• Creating, publishing, and managing original, high quality content on social platforms
• Administering all company social media accounts to ensure up-to-date content
• Responding to social communities’ inquiries, comments, and messages

FAST Social Media Strategist will develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our web traffic and our brand awareness.

As a Social media strategist, you should have excellent multitasking skills to handle all of our social media accounts in a cohesive way. If you have a creative way of thinking and of presenting our brand through multiple social media channels, we would like to make you part of our team. You should be comfortable to wear the hat of a photographer, editor, copywriter, planner, customer support, and social media analyst. When a new platform emerges, you do not shy away. You are the first one to give it a try.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our company web presence is aligned with our marketing strategies. You are daring and have a strange desire to report. If you can’t spell, this job is probably not for you.

Responsibilities

• Design audience focused social media vision and strategies to achieve marketing targets
• Liaise with relevant teams to ensure content is informative and appealing
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product development teams to create social momentum regarding new product launches
• Facilitate client-company communication (respond to queries, get reviews and organize chats and Q&A sessions)
• Act as a brand champion and connect with influencers through social media outreach
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and ROI
• Take ownership of digital KPIs and analyze social media performance in the context of business objectives
• Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
• Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network
• Train internal teams to integrate and maintain a cohesive social media strategy
• Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Social media strategist or Social media manager
• Hands on experience using social media for brand awareness in a variety of mediums
• Proficiency in proactive and reactive engagement and publishing
• Understanding of SEO, Social Media analytics, and web traffic metrics
• Ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them
• Tech savvy and familiarity with web design and publishing
• Broad understanding of science and technology verticals
• Creative writing skills
• Very strong English and Armenian written and verbal communication skills
• Be daring, not fearing failure
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English or equivalent experience
