We are seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our Hilton Head Island marketing team and help us continue to grow our business! This position is responsible for creating attention through social media platforms to help maximize sales teams’ leads and closing chances. This position will oversee the company's interactions with the public through implementing content strategies on social media platforms. Their duties include analyzing data, identifying trends in customer interactions, and planning digital campaigns to build our online community. You will report to the Marketing Director.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00 pm; Must be flexible during evenings and Saturdays for communication related to customer acquisition and team building.

Essential Job Duties:

• Creates positive attention for maximum recognition within community
• Creates daily social media content and posts
• Communicates and brainstorms target markets and messages with Marketing Director
• Creates videos and other forms of multimedia
• Enhance the company’s brand/reputation in the public’s eye
• Leverage customer insight data to refine brand management.
• Works within a monthly spending budget which is provided by the company
• Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology
• Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience
• Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and Linked In)
• Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
• Oversee creating and implementation of the monthly editorial calendar which includes monthly sales objectives and initiative
• Attends networking events as needed

Requirements:

• Previous outside or social media marketing experience (Preferred)
• Bachelors/Associates Degree (Preferred)
• Organized
• High technological aptitude
• Efficient work ethic
• Fluent ability to operate different phone applications
• Professional certification in Google Analytics strongly preferred
• Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Hootsuite
• Excellent communication skills
