Astec Designs is a fast growing ecommerce startup that designs, markets, produces, and fulfills orders for various customizable silicone products, including Siligrams ice trays and May & Lou dog biscuit molds. These goods are produced in-house through a novel, technology-driven manufacturing process of our own design. After just two years in business, we have grown to over 30 employees, were recently featured on NBC’s Today Show, and have produced molds for the likes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Ebay, and the Atlanta Falcons. POSITION SUMMARY

The Social Media Manager and Content Creator will be responsible for creating and managing content to be distributed across social media platforms including but not limited to: Tik Tok, Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook. This person will be a confident, outgoing self starter who will lead our company’s organic social media strategy and presence with the ultimate goal of building a following, nurturing our audience and customers, and ultimately driving awareness of the brand online.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain high level social media strategies for the company’s various brands
  • Create video and photo content for each platform that resonates with the brand’s audience and users on the platform. Be eager and willing to regularly be on camera
  • Efficiently perform responsibilities, sometimes with minimal supervision
  • Report on Analytics and KPIs on a weekly basis
  • Answer Incoming DMs and reply to comments
  • Coordinate influencer marketing campaigns
  • Ability to create, edit, and post multiple pieces of content within a relatively short time frame
  • Be willing to model for photo/video with our products during occasional shoots
  • Performs light graphic design using Canva or similar to create static photo content

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Social media management experience required
  • Very comfortable on camera with an outgoing, confident personality
  • Highly effective communicator
  • Resourceful, eager to learn
  • Frequent consumer of social media content and aware of current trends
  • Strong understanding of social media aesthetics in order to enable cohesive, on-brand content

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
