Job Description
Responsible for dropping passengers to and from their destination in a safe and timely manner. You should be able to report to the arrival and departure points as per the assigned schedule. Also, you should ensure that the bus is occupied with passengers while adhering to the sitting/standing capacity.
As a Shuttle Bus Driver, you should be familiar with the road and safety regulations. Also, you should be able to take the shortest route in case of any road block or heavy traffic. Moreover, you should report any major accidents or malfunctions to the senior management. Also, you should keep the vehicle in proper working order and schedule timely servicing appointments.
To perform in this job role, you should always have a calm composure. Also, you should hold a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. In addition to this, you should have a customer centric approach.

Responsibilities
  • Performing Pre-trip and Post – trip vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness of bus interiors, fueling of buses, logging trip counts and assisting disabled passengers.
  • Responsible for being at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
  • Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license to be carried with driver, always, while on duty.
  • Have and maintain an acceptable DMV record.
  • Courteously assist Customers by answering any questions they may have. If necessary, direct the Customer to the Facility Manager for further assistance.
  • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
  • Communicate debris, water, oil spills and etc. to management.
  • Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
  • Fueling of all SAS Vehicles.
  • Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted in the checklists and as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all dirt, dust, litter, and debris is removed from all areas of the facility using brooms, mops, brushes, and other hand tools.
  • Checking all fluids on SAS Vehicles (if applicable).
  • Re-filling fluids correctly as needed on all SAS Vehicles (if applicable).
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the SAS Vehicles.
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance and arrive and remain complete uniform before and during scheduled shifts.
  • Other reasonable and work-related duties as assigned.
  • Your work hours will be set when you begin employment, and thereafter are subject to adjustment at the Company’s discretion. Your specific schedule and location assignment are subject to change based on business requirements. You may also be required to work overtime if business conditions require it. At the Company’s sole discretion, you may also be transferred to a different location.

Candidate requirements
  • License Requirement: You will be required to have and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License
  • 1 Year of Commercial Driving Experience.
  • Airport Badging: Background check, fingerprinting, and training courses will be performed to receive clearance to work on Airport property.
  • Availability to Work: Must be available to work Mornings, Afternoons, or Overnight Shifts including weekends.
  • Education/Experience Required: Less than High School education or one-month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and passengers.
