YKTA is seeking applicants for a Shipping Associate 2nd Shift (Conveyance II) in our Chassis Weld Department at our facility in Huntsville, Alabama. YKTA is a joint venture of three successful automotive supplier companies- Y-tec, Keylex, and Toyotetsu. YKTA products provide structural safety for the vehicle and important functional parts that must operate as designed. YKTA is an on-site partner and tier one supplier for Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, USA.

Summary/ Objective:

Complete data entry and records for the department.

Essential Functions (but are not limited to):

• Ensures safety of self and others by following all Safety Policies/Procedures and wearing all required PE
• Daily entry of Plex broadcasts.
• Daily entry of EDI shipping within Plex.
• PSCS prep and distribution.
• One way Kanban print off of skid manifests/ OWK labels and post for shipping.
• Troubleshoot any shipping issues.
• TSCS shipping, tracking, and confirmation.
• Regular attendance is required
• Ability to work 2nd shift and overtime as required.

Must be flexible to work in all areas and in your department regardless of duties listed above in order to accomplish YKTA Goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications, Education and Experience:

• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Proficient computer and software skills, Plex ERP is a plus.
• Attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

• Experience with shipping material through Plex
• Working knowledge of plant logistics and inventory control/ flow process.

Environment:

• Work is conducted in an industrial open office/ plant setting.
• Frequent movement throughout an industrial plant environment being exposed to high noise levels and equipment normally used in stamping / welding/ Ecoat environments.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 33lbs.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer and data entry
• Able to traverse the plant facility
