Job Purpose

/ Shipping and Receiving Assistant executes the required purchasing, subcontracting, project management, and inventory control practices required to assure delivery of all aftermarket business.

Duties and Responsibilities

/ Assure that Stock inventory levels are adequate.

/ Maintain inventory accuracy by doing small audits and routine counts.

/ Assist in shipping and receiving duties.

/ Operate forklift and cranes (rigging)

/ Load, unload and set up trucks (LTL & flatbed)

/ Receive P.O.’s in ERP system

/ Inspect fabricated parts to print

/ Gather and package (crate) shipments (domestic and international)

/ Enter shipments in the ERP system

/ Prepare all paperwork, BOL-USMCA-FTA-SLI-PACKING LIST (domestic & international)

/ Maintain company vehicles

/ Order shipping supplies

/ Maintenance when required

/ Other jobs as needed to benefit the team.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

/ Microsoft Software knowledge preferred.

/ Ability to read blueprint drawings a plus.

/ Knowledge of ERP system a plus.

/ Must be organized, responsible and prompt.

/ Must be a team player.

/ Must have reliable Transportation.
