Shift Supervisor
The Shift Supervisor is accountable for motivating employees to produce quality product in a consistent, timely and cost-effective manner that meets and exceeds the quality expectations of our customers. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising the performance and results of employees leading to a well preforming team. Perform applicable food safety duties in the absence of personnel within the Production department.
Managing the day-to-day operations of the packaging/production department.
- Initiate problem solving in packaging to improve results.
- Supervising the performance and results of employees leading to a well performing team.
- Develop, lead and coach employees through effective training and recognition.
- Foster and maintain a positive work environment by ensuring that all employees are treated with respect, and employee concerns are managed.
- Utilize equipment, supplies and personnel to maximize productivity.
- Identify productivity improvements.
- Provide guidance and supervision to employees to ensure that standard operating procedures are understood and followed. Ensure compliance to Government regulations and Company specifications for SQF, HACCP, Sanitation, and Safety.
- Document and maintain accurate records with respect to employee performance, product quality, daily reconciliation, health and safety, and attendance.
- Manage rework and tote inventory daily
12-hour shifts on days/nights, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, climb, lift up to 50 lbs #LI-KR1
