Sewer- Newton Plant Job at Bassett Furniture
Fabric/Leather Sewer
We are seeking an experienced fabric sewer at our Upholstery Division in Newton, NC to sew fabrics and leathers for sofas, loveseats, ottomans, etc.
Primary duties, requirements and experience include:
- Sewing pre-cut fabric patterns together in preparation for upholstering various furniture frames;
- Constant standing; frequent bending, lifting up to 10 pounds required;
- Minimum six months experience operating a “stand up” industrial sewing machine.
