JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

The service coordinator will be deeply involved in the work order process including opening work order headers and segments in Service Link, technician time entry into Service Link, receiving and entering technician service reports into Service Link, scheduling PSP/PIP work, customer purchase order requests, filing to history files, warranty claim pre-prep, coordination, follow-up and communication with central warranty group and parts personnel through to claim closure, as well as clerical work such as payroll and scheduling.

COMPETENCIES:

Typing and keyboarding skills of at least 60 wpm accurately, computer skills including MS Word and Excel, organizational skills, and ability to interact with multiple branch and company department personnel including sales, service, rental, parts, warranty, and credit. An ability to balance multiple tasks and learn multiple computer based applications. Must have good decision making and a strong desire for follow-up and attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma/GED
Prior experience in a service department preferred but not required.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and have an excellent team work ethic.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
