The Server is our most important interface with our guests. Servers have the ability to create a memorable occasion that the guest wants to come back to, and share their experience with friends and family, or a forgettable experience. It is your attention to the details that make the difference. It is the Servers responsibility to provide every guest that joins us with genuine hospitality. The Server is responsible for maintaining thorough food and beverage knowledge as well as the steps of service, timing of service and the transactional aspect of providing the guest with an accurate bill. From the moment a guest enters our restaurant to the moment we say thank you and please join us again, our goal is to create raving fans. Trust and teamwork is essential to your success as well as the success of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of our regular, specials and beverage menus.
  • Greet guests warmly and in a timely manner. Begin to establish a rapport with the guests. This is the first step in developing not just a sale- but a long term relationship!
  • Be able to impart information of interest about our dishes as well as be able to respond to questions about dietary restrictions or personal preferences.
  • Be knowledgeable of wine or other beverage pairings to be able to make appropriate suggestions.
  • Responsible for providing flawless service to multiple table sections. Able to pace courses to enhance the guests experience and be cognizant of impact on BOH/kitchen.
  • Consistent use of Aventura/Savco Hospitality steps of service.
  • Be aware of your co-workers, if you see someone struggling and you can lend a hand, do so graciously. Likewise, accept help and constructive feedback positively.
  • Maintain running side-work. Your team is relying on you. Give these tasks the attention they deserve. This is how we literally set the table for success. Complete closing side-work in a timely manner.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 2+ years of serving experience in high volume restaurant
  • Passion for hospitality

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
