Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Set up of outlets for banquet functions, and to serve food and beverage items in a friendly, courteous and professional manner according to our standards of quality and excellence. To reach the goals of the company as well as the goals of the individual.
FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check and maintain proper set-up of guest tables before, during and after service (e.g., checking if all proper tableware is on table when guests arrive, clearing table and re-setting after guest has left.)
- Check and maintain proper set-up and cleanliness of the service station before, during and after the shift.
- Set up outlets/venue for banquet functions by ensuring area is cleaned and vacuumed(if applicable) all props, utensils, required equipment, decorations, etc are in place prior to the start of functions.
- Break down of banquet setups after each function, ensuring that the banquet outlet/venue is clean, and all items/doors are placed in their proper areas and secured.
- Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Adherence to posted work schedule.
- Be a salesperson to our guest offering suggestions and ideas to increase average food and beverage check
