Pita Pit PSU is a small business located on the Portland State University campus in Portland, OR. We are supportive, engaging, fun and our goal is to serve high quality food to our customers, and to keep a positive and upbeat environment for our team.

We're currently seeking teammates with a strong work ethic to join our crew to help us maintain and build on our success. The right candidates will be responsible for taking orders, preparing food, handling cash and working all positions in a fun, fast paced environment. Previous food handling experience is not preferred but not required. We are seeking someone for day shift/ lunch rush and also a closer. The restaurant closes at 8 every day, we are flexible on hours and will work around your schedule, especially for students as we are located on the PSU campus. Hiring at $15/hour plus tips. Opportunities for more hours are available several times a week to come in early and assist with catering orders.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cash register while taking orders from customers.
- Apply knowledge of our menu and ingredients to build pita sandwiches and make recommendations to customers.
- Take orders with knowledge of food preparation.
- Move quickly through food service shifts.
- Light cleaning.
- Food prep.
