What is Hot Pot? Hot pot is an Asian cooking method, prepared with a simmering pot of soup stock at the dining taKble, containing a variety of East Asian foods and ingredients. While your hot pot is simmering, ingredients are placed into the pot and are cooked at the table in front of your eyes, in a manner similar to fondue.

Korean barbecue known locally as (고기구이) gogi-gui, “Meat Roast”, refers to the Korean cuisine method of grilling meat such as beef, chicken or pork, that you prepare yourself at your table. Our menu offers an extensive selection of fresh quality meats, seafood, noodles, and vegetables for Hot Pot and BBQ experience.

Role Overview

The Kitchen Prep is to produce the highest quality food with precision and accuracy, continually observing and implementing the proper quality-assurance and food-safety procedures. To include daily prep, preparing ingredients, keeping the kitchen clean and orderly.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare all food items and bonchan (Korean side dishes) as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain the station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Quickly complete opening and closing duties each shift – setting up and tearing down the line to ensure you, your peers and your location are set for success
  • Strictly adhere to all Company and government health and safety standards with a focus on Human Safety; Food Safety and Chemical Safety and Sanitation Standards
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum - 1+ years prior prep cook restaurant experience; ability to lead and train others; knowledge of DOH food safety standards

Preferred - 3+ years prior prep cook restaurant experience; ability to lead and train others; extensive knowledge of DOH food safety standards
