WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
As the Sr. Director of Volunteer Mobilization you are serving on the Volunteer Services Leadership Team and reporting to the Vice President, lead the Volunteer Mobilization team to achieve performance outcomes across all volunteer mobilization points. Driving results focused on ensuring enterprise organizational volunteer capacity through developing strategies to support volunteer growth, satisfaction and retention. Ensuring strong talent acquisition pipelines are consistent and robust to meet mission delivery needs. Designing strategy and implement tools and resources to ensure excellence in the volunteer experience.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD
1. Responsible for leading a team and developing strategy to achieve department performance outcomes across all volunteer mobilization points.
2. Drives results focused on organizational volunteer capacity within mobilization teams and field teams.
3. Ensure strong talent acquisition pipelines are consistent and robust to meet mission delivery needs for volunteers
4. Ensure mobilization teams are appropriately supporting the Line of Business portfolio while advancing Volunteer Services priorities.
5. Formulate strategy in the development and implementation of programs, evaluate overall activities of programs to ensure consistency with the direction of the organization, and exercise control over management personnel responsible for specific programs.
6. Ensure consistent delivery of programs, quality and growth of programs and the integration with other programs within the organization.
7. Review program to ensure progress is being accomplished toward overall program objectives and make change recommendations based on business needs.
8. Develop and implement short and long-term strategies to integrate priorities into the overall organization business plan and manage the execution of those strategies.

Candidates can live anywhere in the US.
The salary range for this position is $130,000- $150,000
Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Management Experience: 7 years of management experience.
Skills & Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to think critically and strategically required.
100% Remote
Travel: Travel may be required 10-20%.
Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
