POSITION: Senior Recruiter/Alt. Contract Manager

Salary: DOE
Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm and 1 Saturday a Month.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for Recruitment and Credentialing lifecycle on Government, DoD, and commercial contracts nationwide
  • Leverage recruitment, credentialing, and contract management activities with human resources, and the finance team.
  • Perform the function of Alt. Contract Manager (Alt. CM), collaborate with contract team and interface directly with internal and external customers and leadership teams to ensure adherence to the business, legal, compliance, security, audit terms, conditions, and customer requirements detailed in contract documents
  • Set up and maintain electronic customer files. Customer files may include proposals, contracts, modifications, performance work statements, renewals, correspondence, contract deliverables, payment schedules/logs, etc.
  • Provided support in maintaining HR activities in the company database and employee/contract-related issues resolution.
  • Provide coordination support for Joint Venture efforts and Teaming Partners.
  • Involved in the conduct of quality control, action plans, policies, and contract requirements
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to new and less experienced staff to recruitment, credentialing, and contract deliverables.
  • Involve with response to solicitations, TOPRS, request for proposal bids, and responses. Provide bid input and participate in proposal writing.
  • Provide support and perform business development-related activities, including review of business development resources and capture management activities.

Other

  • Provide continuous communication, and support to the contract/project managers and other company personnel to implement all areas, as defined above.
  • Continually updates job knowledge and evaluates internal operational processes to determine how competitive and current the organization is with the industry's latest trends.
  • Participates in conferences and educational opportunities; reads professional publications; maintains professional networks; and represents the organization in the community.
  • Participates in committees, special projects, new product line/business opportunities, and seeks additional responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualification

  • Bachelors or masters degree in Human Resources or 6+ years experience in recruitment, credentialing/ human resources department within the DoD & Federal Government Contracting
  • Strong understanding of DoD and Federal Contracts and DoD customers.
  • Proficient skills in hiring, termination, scheduling, training, human resources, recruitment plans, researching new trends in recruitment and retention.
  • Excellent planning skills and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with the human resources information system (HRIS) and ability to quickly learn and master systems used by the company Paycom, MaxSys, and Indeed
  • Knowledge of a broad range of recruitment, and human resource strategies/practices.
  • Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, team player, team building and teamwork
  • Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic recruitment planning and contract management.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting and credentialing.
