Our company is growing and actively looking to hire a Senior Product Manager to join our team.

About the Role

You will be an important member of our product team responsible for the entire product lifecycle from gathering, writing and prioritizing product and customer requirements, helping define the product vision, and working closely with our UX/UI Designer and engineering team to maximize the value delivered to our customers. You will have strong business acumen and in-depth understanding of customers to set a clear vision and strategy for your product and make critical, evidence-based prioritization decisions. You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to ensure you keep a strong pulse on the market and that our products are innovative and continuously evolve to exceed our users' needs.

What you'll be doing

• Contribute to the product vision and roadmap by analyzing and prioritizing product feature requests and bugs
• Write user cases and user stories and communicate to developers, designers, and stakeholders
• Prepare content including documentation and recorded demos for internal and external release communications [NP2]
• Develop an understanding of the customer journey through user research, including interviews, focus groups, and surveys
• Analyze platform data and make additional data requests when necessary to uncover user needs and impediments
• Stay informed and up to date on competitors and industry trends
• Create product documentation, project plans, and other artifacts to provide context and direction to internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with marketing to communicate product enhancements and new features externally
• Participate in Scrum meetings and adhere to Scrum guidelines for development and best practices

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience working within a product management role
• 6+ years' experience with software development lifecycle, Agile development, and Scrum
• 6+ years' experience with consumer marketing, attribution models, funnel optimization, A/B/n testing methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Product Owner and/or other Scrum certifications
• Prior experience working in EdTech or higher education
• Basic understanding of foundational programming languages such as SQL, HTML/CSS, or JS
• You are knowledgeable of front-end design best practices and standards like bootstrap and material design
• Experience working within cross functional organizations
• You are passionate about bringing technology to education and improving student outcomes
• A creative thinker who is able to take information and observations and turn them into practical, impactful products
