Pay Rate: $91,000-$130,000
Your Impact
As the Senior Billing Manager, you will be owning all aspects of our billing structure at Sameday Health. This position is a unique opportunity to lead a team with a focus on implementing an efficient payment structure and strategy. You bring analytical and problem-solving skills with the knowledge of complex healthcare billing concepts. You will be responsible for creating billing reports and tracking our revenue cycle. You strive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Review and approve invoices and billing adjustments
- Focus on process improvements and implement quality assurance for all processes
- Manage and mentor a team of billing coordinators supporting all aspects of operation billing from order review to invoicing
- Improve and audit billing structure and strategy
- Produce budgeting, forecasting, revise billing reports
- Manage balance payment portals and reissue checks
- Frequent collaboration and communication with the Operations and Sales departments
- Assist management with ad-hoc projects as needed
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years experience as Head of Billing of an Urgent Care Chain
- Strong organizational, mathematical and communication skills are required
- Ability to work under time pressure in a multi-task start-up environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Prior leadership experience
- Successful track record managing multi-faceted projects
- Knowledge of billing and support systems with the ability to improve process efficiencies and solve problems
- You are tech savvy, a quick learner, and always ready to adapt new skills
