As Senior Innovation Manager - Home Care, you will work in collaboration with the Director of Product Innovation to lead our best-selling, flagship brand, Grove Collaborative. Along with the Director, you will drive the short and long term Home Care strategy with the aim of re-inventing the category. Your vision will help make sustainable living the natural choice for households across America. You’ll work with a network of like-minded manufacturers and across the Grove organization to bring innovative, leading edge new products and to build a brand that stands apart in the Home Care category.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Own the home care mid and long term innovation roadmap. Work with the Senior Innovation Director, Owned Brands to chart out the next 1-3 years for our home care brands. As the product expert for your categories and brands, stay at the forefront of industry trends, competitive launches, and sustainability advancements to ensure that our personal care Owned Brands lead the way. Track performance of products and categories to inform the roadmap.
  • Deliver successful launches on time in full. Ensure projects are being managed effectively, stage gate is on track and launches are delivered on time in full. Provide clear leadership and effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners to bring products to market together successfully as a company.
  • Understand and design for omnichannel: Create brands, products and innovation roadmaps that succeed in an omnichannel environment, helping to grow the brands’ presence in retail significantly over time.
  • Manage the portfolio effectively. Own pricing strategy and ensure that we continue to meet margin requirements by brand as the portfolio grows. Collaborate with inventory to determine no go forward SKUs.
  • Support brand strategy and marketing plan execution with a focus on results. Work with the Director of Product Marketing to ensure launches align with brand strategy and target consumer. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the go-to-market process and toolkit, selling kit development.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships: Own day to day communications with vendors and hold them accountable to timelines and deliverables. Build strong relationships to ensure that vendors deliver excellent service and support to Grove.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have 8+ years of professional experience, with 5+ of those years working firsthand crafting brands & innovation in omnichannel CPG; home care experience preferred
  • You are a product guru. You understand consumer needs, how things are made, how to rigorously test them, and how to improve their performance
  • You have solid experience in brand marketing, including working with customers, P&L management, brand strategy, brand execution and innovation development
  • You have a mindset that wants to design the future of home care!
  • You are a team player and a strong collaborator
  • You are passionate about leaving a positive impact in the world
  • You have strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
