What you will do:

As a Senior Electrochemist on the Technology team, you will focus on designing and leading experiments on Electra's novel electrochemical cells and processes. The majority of your time will be spent in the lab surrounded by other scientists. In this role you will:

• Design and conduct lab-scale experiments to increase our understanding and quickly evaluate new ideas and approaches
• Analyze experimental data and present results to the broader team
• Collaborate with other teams to support scale-up system development
• Identify new approaches to improve cell and process performance

What we need you to bring to the team:

• A Master's in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field, AND 5 years of experience, OR: A PhD in a directly related field AND 2 years of experience
• Strong theoretical knowledge of electrochemistry fundamentals
• Strong practical knowledge of electrochemical cell design and component interactions, especially for mixed phase liquid-gas systems.
• Familiarity with electrochemical characterization techniques for including cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy (EIS), etc.
• The ability to plan, execute, and prioritize research and experimentation projects
• The ability to adapt quickly to changing processes and responsibilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation:

• The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $100,000-$150,000 annually and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.
