About You

  • 3+ years in banking, consulting or similar analytical generalist roles
  • Top tier MBA is a plus, not a strict requirement if deeper experience and acumen is demonstrated in your work history
  • Demonstrated interest & acumen in software business
  • Experience building sophisticated business models
  • Very high skill in building highly effective presentation decks including quantitative and visual storytelling elements
  • Consistent overachievement of goals and targets
  • Demonstrated ability to engender collaboration across teams and roles, including effective upwards management of leaders
  • Exceptional cross-organization collaboration and communication skills. Strong executive presence, influencing skills, presentation skills, and business insight
  • A demonstrable desire for innovation, continuous learning, and improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, critical projects is required.
  • Develop internal relationships with executive leadership, key stakeholders, and peers in other functions

Your Impact

Our Senior Business Strategist is a singular role at EvolutionIQ, reporting directly to our co-founder and Chief Operating Officer. Working in daily partnership with the COO, you will develop EvolutionIQ’s success into a scalable, international machine. From market research to product development, sales ops, pricing analysis and other critical business-side functions, you will help enable EvolutionIQ’s next phase of growth. This is a chance to break into the very high-growth B2B SaaS world at a top company. EvolutionIQ has deep product market fit across our product offering and is adding resources across the company to scale.

This role is ideal for a high performing individual with a proven track record of success in investment banking, consulting or technology looking to deepen their experience within the enterprise SaaS world. You will be called on to jump into essentially all phases of the company’s business and act as an extension of the COO, and be a true thought-partner to the entire EvolutionIQ leadership team. You will have direct access to our entire founding team, as well as VP level leadership across the company.

Mike Saltzman, our COO is a Stanford GSB grad, Bridgewater Associates alum and currently oversees EvolutionIQ’s sales, product, marketing and customer success teams. He also drives EvolutionIQ’s external commercial presence and fundraising/corpdev function. Your role will be to match Mike’s work ethic, drive and oversight across the entire business as fast as humanly possible. This individual will have a lot of responsibility as well as deep mentorship opportunities from the leadership team. You will also get exposure to our group of top tier Venture Capital partners in both operational and board settings.

EvolutionIQ leadership has a strong in-office culture which you would be a key part of. We are in the office 3-5 days per week in the heart of ‘Silicon Alley’ in the Flatiron area of New York.

The ideal outcome of excellent performance in this role would be for this person to move into a leadership role within EvolutionIQ, or take their skillset and experience to found your own business or jump over to an investing track.

In this role you will

  • Partner with our COO, other co-founders and cross functional leaders to evolve and manage the scaling of our business
  • Enable scalability through machine-building, standardization of best practices across our business teams, including Sales, Client Strategy, Product and Marketing
  • Research new markets, including product lines, geographies and modules to inform key resource allocation in EvolutionIQ’s $20m+ annual operating budget.
  • Build organizational plans to drive effective, scalable collaboration across our growing 75 person team
  • Work between product, sales and marketing to ensure our entire commercial organization is focused on the highest ROI opportunities
  • Sharing your opinion and providing thought-partnership to the leadership team across key topics in the business
  • Opportunity to travel domestically and internationally to join leadership on client and sales visits
