The Senior Behavior Technician plays a central role on the frontline delivery of care to clients of ACP, and under the guidance of a BCBA, implements one-on-one behavioral intervention programs in a center setting using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This Senior Behavior Technicians will act as role model and are a resource for Behavior Technicians.
Requirements:Essential Functions
- Perform all the duties of a Behavior Technician while acting as an experience role model for others.
- Notify BCBA on any stimuli needs for programs
- Take data on parent behavior targets when instructed to by BCBA
- Probe any new skills for client when instructed to by BCBA
- Identify possible functions of behaviors when taking ABC data for BCBA
- 100% fidelity on BIP implementation (Reinforcement Schedule, Token economy, Ability to define all vocabulary on BIP)
- 100% accuracy for all SD’s for current targets for your client caseload
- Build rapport with all therapy team members and demonstrate leadership to problem solve and improve on any concerns
- Give encouragement and vocal positive statements to other therapists
- Reliability data minimum 90%
- Other duties as assigned.

- Experience working and playing with young children primarily ages 2-6 years old
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team as well as independently
- Communicates well in both verbal and written forms
- Willingness to take direction from BCBA
- Strong time management and organizational skills
Education and Experience
- Minimum Highschool Diploma or GED Required
- Preferred two years college undergraduate or equivalent experience (preferably studying Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Speech, or related fields).
- Prior and proven experience as a Behavior Technician is required.
