Senior Art Directors at Langrand are the creative force responsible for ideas that solve important client problems. Art directors play an essential role in the strategy, conception and overall design of powerful brands and experiences. They not only possess exceptional creative thought and craft, but also must think beyond the brief to imagine innovative approaches our clients may not have asked for—or even thought possible. Art directors are crucial to building Langrand’s reputation for groundbreaking, influential work.
As a Senior Art Director you will be expected to provide leadership for the brands you work with, develop smart concepts and push the idea through to the final required outputs. Working alongside a team of writers and designers, you’ll craft and present concepts that both charm and deliver results for our clients.
Qualities we're looking for
Mastery of and passion for the craft: art, design and keyed-in to culture
Experience and willingness to nurture client relationships
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Exceptional creative point of view and an overall collaborative nature
Effective interpersonal, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
High level of organization and attention to detail
Role and baseline requirements
A strong portfolio of work that showcases critical thinking and empathy
Proficiency within the Adobe Creative Suite
Demonstrated ability to lead by example working in collaborative, multi-functional teams
Ability to spot emerging trends and speak to them
Listen to and participate in project briefs with the ability to ask smart questions
Exceptional time management skills
A willingness to strengthen and contribute to a healthy and collaborative studio culture
