We are a nonprofit organization aimed at changing the lives of Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. We have a combined total of 70+ facilities and program offices in the state of California and we continue to grow! Our Accounting Department is dynamic and very fast-paced. Our seasoned accountant performs various general accounting processes under direct reporting to the Director of Finance. The right person must combine excellent analytical skills with full command of core accounting principles and concepts to analyze financial statements, create budgets and formulate projections.
*Salary - Starting at $77,000.00/Annum or DOE*
WHAT YOU WILL DO
GENERAL LEDGER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares and enters monthly amortizations, journal entries and necessary accruals
- Performs month-end and year-end accounting close processes
- Performs various F/S account analyses and reconciliation functions including complex bank reconciliations, Payroll and 941 Tax reconciliation
- Performs various cash flow and Bank Reconciliations
YEAR END (FISCAL YEAR) AUDIT TASKS
- Assists with completion of annual surveys, budgets, forecast and projections
- Assists in various audits by providing records and supporting schedules & information
TAX INFORMATION AND SURVEYS
- Manage the provision of ITR information i.e., Form 990/1099-MISC/1099-INT/1099-NEC
- Census Bureau Surveys
FINANCIAL REPORTING TASKS
- Reviews and evaluates financial statement information
- Prepares ad hoc reports and schedules in aid of management decision-making
WHAT YOU CURRENTLY HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Accounting
- 2 Years of Bank Reconciliation Experience
- 2 Years of GL Account Reconciliation Experience
