Summary:

Yorktown systems Group is seeking highly qualified Security Records Manager to provide professional services and support to the TRADOC Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (G-2) Operational Environment (OE) and Core Functions. The Operational Environment (OE) is a composite of the conditions, circumstances, and influences that affect the employment of military forces and bear on the decisions of the unit commander. As an organic, complex system, the OE provides the common framework in which warfighting programs and strategies are conceived, defined, and executed. It is a living foundation in which choices made, by adversary and allies alike, affect the outcome of the future which must be accounted for. As adversary's asymmetrical approach to warfare continues to generate greater complexity and flexibility, the government's requirement for similar complexity and adaptability in Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) escalates correspondingly.

TRADOC Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (G-2)'s mission is to understand, visualize, describe, deliver & assess the OE in order to reduce risk and prevent surprise; today and into the future 2035+. TRADOC G-2 is the designated Lead for Core Function #13 Operational Environment; the process of developing, verifying, validating, accrediting, and providing OE products and services represents an authoritative, validated OE contextual baseline for TRADOC users and operational forces in the areas of training and training development; education; leader development; concept and doctrine development; and capabilities development, integration, and evaluation.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Implements the Records Management Program with government oversight IAW AR 25-1 DA PAM 25-403 specific to paragraph 1-6b.
  • Serve as the central point of contact (POC) for the organization's Records Management Program. Provide functional guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with statutory regulations concerning the maintenance of repositories.
  • Review Office Records List (ORL) submitted by subordinate directorates and make recommendations for government oversight approval. Develop management tools and an organization tailored Self Inspection Checklist to provide feedback to government oversight concerning the strengths and weaknesses within the program.
  • Provide technical assessments of subordinate programs through annual reviews and provide results for government oversight. Prescribe functional guidance and training for recommended corrective action via government oversight to the Directorate Record Coordinators (RC).
  • Maintain the organization Master Records Management Spreadsheet on the TRADOC Knowledge Environment (TKE) G-6 Records Management Portal.
  • Oversee the transfer, access, and release of stored records for the organization. Oversee disposition of records to the local Records Holding Area (RHA) and maintain a complete inventory of records.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have 8 years' experience implementing and providing support to a Records Management Program.
  • Experience providing functional guidance and oversight ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Experience maintaining files and records, as well as coordinating and processing records requests.

Clearance: Secret clearance is required.

Location: Fort Eustis, VA

Travel: Some travel (less than 5%) may be required.
