Our property also boasts Red Salt Room, King Bar, The Rose Room Underground Lounge and The Patio Bar, all inspired by Chef David Burke. Located in the heart of Garden City, the Hotel is a stone’s throw away from Manhattan, only 15 miles by car or 45 minutes by Long Island Railroad.

We currently have a career opportunity available for an experienced Security Officer with Law enforcement backround only.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Patrol all areas of hotel property (front and back of the house) and hotel grounds
• Monitor Security cameras
• Respond to guest and employee accidents and prepare accurate, detailed investigation reports
• Defuse guest disturbances and remove guests from property if needed
• Perform Security duties for events
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and guest incidents
• Maintain Lost & Found

Preferred Requirements:

• LAW ENFORCEMENT BACKGROUND ONLY.
• Prior Security/Loss Prevention experience, preferably in a hotel
• Valid NYS Security Guard Licenses (8 and 16 hour)
• NYC Fire Life Safety License
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent interpersonal/guest service skills
• Flexibility with scheduling
• Computer proficiency is a must
