The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Department of Human Services (DHS) merged on July 1, 2022, to form one agency, the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). We are seeking a Secretary 1 to join the team at the Glenwood Resource Center (GRC) in Glenwood, which offers a continuum of care to Iowans experiencing intellectual disabilities. This is a full-time position with a Monday – Friday work schedule. Employees are eligible for a $1,500 retention payment for a commitment of 7 pay periods (14 weeks) and are eligible for renewal at the end of each 7 pay periods until the facility closes. This position will provide clerical and record keeping assistance to the Quality Management Department. Some job duties include:
Provide assistance and support for the Quality Management Department under the direct supervision of the Director of Quality Management. Perform support services for the processes and procedures required in accordance with applicable Federal, State and Resource Center laws, policies, procedures and guidelines.- Assist the Investigations and Incident Review Committee:
- Preform related duties so that the Department and Facility goals are met in the most efficient and effective manner.
- Assist the Department of Inspections and Appeals:
