1.0 Position Description Manufacturing position responsible for quality, cost, and delivery of products produced in the team through training and development.

2.0 Position Responsibilities

2.1 Provides daily work assignments and coordinates work among the hourly associates.

2.2 Monitors cycle times, scrap, and machine and labor utilization to ensure optimal productivity.

2.3 Coordinates job changeovers and ensures all associated tasks are completed.

2.4 Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures throughout the shift.

2.5 Give timely and appropriate feedback on regular basis for operator performance.

2.6 Displays sound delegation and empowerment decisions in regards to manufacturing and production operators.

2.7 Maintain recordkeeping forms for production and tracking efficiencies on the shift.

2.8 Maintain good housekeeping and equipment care in the Manufacturing area.

2.9 Actively participate on internal problem solving and continuous improvement activities.

2.10 Actively participate in CK Technologies cost-savings activities.

2.11 Actively participate in training, education, and other learning opportunities for improved skills in large part plastic injection molding processing.

2.12 Understand and adhere to all CK Technologies policies, safety activities, and procedures.

2.13 Understand TS16949 quality system standards and maintain compliance within daily activities.

2.14 Understand the ISO 14001 standards and maintain compliance within daily activities.

2.15 Other duties as assigned by management.

3.0 Qualification Requirements

3.1 Educational Requirements:

3.1.1 High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or Associates degree with 5-7 years experience; or Bachelor’s degree with 2- 5 years experience in supervisory role in manufacturing.

3.2 Language Skills Requirements:

3.2.1 Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and system documentation.

3.2.2 Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees.

3.3 Mathematical Skills Requirements:

3.3.1 Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

3.3.2 Ability to calculate percentages and proportions.

3.4 Reasoning Ability Requirements:

3.4.1 Ability to actively participate in problem solving activities

3.4.2 Ability to apply logic to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

3.5 Physical Requirements:

3.5.1 Moderate physical movement and exertion. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
