Soft Surroundings, at The Shops at Chestnut Hill in Chestnut Hill, MA is seeking Seasonal Part Time Stock Associates/Stylists.

Responsibilities:

Accurately and promptly receives shipments of product and places on the salesfloor or organizes into back stock then refills presentation based on sales. Assists when customer demand is high to ensure that customers receive the best possible service.
Duties:

• Understanding and upholding company vision and mission statement to each and every customer.
• Have knowledge of all goals the store is striving to achieve.
• Greet customers and offer to help with their shopping needs, efficiently service more than one customer at all times.
• Promptly receive shipments including unpackaging, hanging, folding, ticketing, steaming and placing units in the sales floor presentation with excess back stocked for replenishment.
• Accurately ticket merchandise including markdowns, re-tickets, and replacing missing tickets.
• Develop a good working knowledge of register procedures and store policies.
• Process outbound transfers and shipments to customers in a timely and orderly manner.
• Return all damaged products and catalog returns to the Distribution Center.
• Assist with preparation of and participate in physical store inventories.
• Contribute to all aspects of the stock room maintenance: Dispose of garbage and cardboard, organize clothing by styles and sizes, maintain neat, orderly and accessible product storage area.
• Maintain a safe environment for team member and customers.
• Must have flexible availability.
• Complete other duties/projects as assigned in a prompt and accurate manner.
• Actively participate in all store-related meetings and trainings.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $19.00 per hour
