About the Role

Operations Associates in these roles will work out of DashMarts in New York City, and will carry out key functions to support DashMart operations such as processing orders, managing inventory, and occasionally delivering orders. DashMart is a new type of retail store that offers grocery items, household essentials, and local restaurant favorites delivered to customers' doorsteps. Customers order their items in the DoorDash app, and Operations Associates pick and pack those orders in actual brick-and-mortar stores. DashMart stores are owned, operated, and curated by DoorDash.

Shifts: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Weekend, Part-Time and Full-Time (This is a short term seasonal role)

What you'll do…

  • Picking and Packing orders. Pick orders that come through the app, pack the order and hand off to our couriers.
  • Inventory and Spoilage Management. Stock receivables and manage inventory, including shelf life.
  • Site Organization. Clean and organize the facility.
  • Delight Customers. Ensuring substitutions are approved with the customer.
  • Occasional Delivering. You may be asked occasionally to deliver orders to customers. If you are needed for a delivery, you will be provided an e-bike (and training) to use for the delivery.

  • You're able to be on your feet and handle physical duties including lifting up to 40 pounds (with or without accommodations).

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You have flexibility in your schedule. You may be required to work any day of the week, across daily operating hours (e.g. 7am-330pm, 330pm-11pm and/or 530pm-2am)
